Memorial Weekend in the Willamette Valley

"Willamette Valley wineries are celebrating 50 years since the first Pinot noir vines were planted here in 1965. In the past half century, we've grown from a handful of pioneering families to more than 400 wineries producing some of the world's best Pinot noir. Join us for one of the region's longest-running events to taste (literally) how far we've come.

More than 150 wineries and tasting rooms will host special events for Memorial Weekend in the Wine Country, capping off the state-wide celebration of Oregon Wine Month."

Meet the Maker. I'm Molly, and I'm a Maker. I like to make things and make things happen. I live in Oregon wine country south of Portland, with my husband, dog and cat. I am a graduate of George Fox University with a degree in Business Communication. My work and personal experience at a number of great organizations (Portland Trail Blazers, Oregon's sports commission, Red Bull North America to name a few) has prepared me for bigger and better projects. Let's keep stoking the fire of creativity. If we haven't met, let's get coffee or an IPA! Among the doers, the thinkers and the dreamers are the makers…
