The Grand Tasting is back! Enjoy more than 50 wines (including 13 new producers!) and small bites from local, NW chefs at this walk-around style event. Wineries will be organized by AVA this year and by popular demand, they will be selling Chardonnay as well.

Planting terrariums is one of our favorite ways to play with plants here at the farm while waiting for warm spring weather to arrive. We will guide you not only through assembling and planting your glass garden, but also teach you how to maintain it throughout the year so you have the experience and confidence to continue building terrariums on your own! You will have a choice of glass vessels as well as a plethora of curated plant material to choose from, all of which can be combined beautifully with natural embellishments such as moss, rock and more.

An approachable introduction to Pinot Noir, our favorite varietal. Learn the basics of tasting, glassware, and Pinot’s journey from France to Oregon. Designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and perfect for anyone curious about wine.

The Bougie Truffle Tromp begins with a pickup from a Downtown Newberg location. We’ll transport you to our local truffle forest to meet up with the truffle hunting team and guest winemaker. Then you’ll learn some of the basics of truffles and truffle hunting from Stefan before setting out into the woods. That’s where the magic happens! The truffle team will work hard and get as many quality truffles as they can before you move on to lunch.

Lunch will be served in a covered area by a master local chef. Weather permitting, They’ll cook the fresh and local fare over a fire on site and incorporate fresh truffles so you can enjoy the tasty delights we just unearthed!

Our guest winery will pour their wines during lunch and tell you all about their process, history and what makes those wines special to them. Oregon pinot noir and truffle are a natural pairing!

Join us for our Strange Magic Winemaker’s Dinner on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 6:30 PM at our tasting room in Dundee.

At this dinner, we will be pairing five of our rarest wines with wood-fired culinary artistry from Portland chef Joe Rodriguez. This dinner will also be the introduction of our limited release 2024 Strange Magic Chardonnay, an astonishing two-barrel selection from Thirsty Boots Vineyard.

This winemaker’s dinner with Anthony Van Nice is limited to 24 guests maximum, and many of the rare and exclusive wines poured will only be available at this event.
